Privacy Policy

When you submit a brief through the form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company name, and the copy or brief you send us. We collect this because we need it to do the work. Nothing else.

We don’t collect it to sell to anyone. We don’t collect it to send you marketing you didn’t ask for. We collect the minimum we need to respond to you and, if you become a client, to do the job properly.

If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence. Again, to do the job.

The site itself uses standard analytics to understand how people find and use it — page views, referral sources, that kind of thing. Nothing that identifies you personally.

This one matters.

If you send us a page, an email, or a piece of copy via the brief form, that copy belongs to you. Human Chapter uses AI as part of its writing process — that’s the service. What we won’t do is publish your copy, share it with third parties, use it as a public example, or allow it to be used in AI training datasets. Your brief is used to do your work. Nothing else.

If we want to feature anything you’ve sent us as a case study or example — even anonymised — we’ll ask first. If you say no, that’s the end of it.

We use what you send us to respond to your brief, to complete work you’ve commissioned, and to contact you about that work. That’s it.

We don’t add you to mailing lists without asking. We don’t pass your details to third parties for marketing purposes. We don’t sell data. We’re a copywriting service, not a data business.

The brief form is handled by Formspree, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Submissions land in our inbox. Formspree’s privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We don’t see or store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Project management is handled via Trello. Client briefs and copy live on shared Trello boards accessible only to you and us.

Nobody else sees your information unless we’re legally required to share it.

You have the right to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to how we’re using it. Email hello@humanchapter.co.uk for any of those.

If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. We’d rather you came to us first, but that’s your right.
