The subscription

One piece of copy. Delivered in 48 hours. Then the next one.

Most businesses don’t have a writing problem. They have a throughput problem. The brief exists. The need exists. Nobody has the time, the skill, or the appetite to turn it into copy that actually works. So it gets written by whoever’s available, in the vocabulary of whoever wrote the last version, and it sounds like everyone else in the category.

Human Chapter is a monthly subscription. One active request at a time. Brief in, copy out, revisions until it’s right, then the next one. No agency markup. No project proposals. No waiting three weeks for a first draft.

Not sure yet?

Send us one page, email, or product description that isn’t doing its job. We’ll identify where the argument weakens and rewrite a short section so you can see the difference. No charge. No obligation.

The process

How it works.

01

Submit your brief

You get a shared Trello board. Add requests in any order, as many as you like. They move through one at a time.

02

We write

First draft delivered within 48 hours. Every piece goes through our process: audience research, positioning, then copy written for the specific person reading it.

03

You review

Read it. If it needs adjusting, tell us on the card. Two rounds of revisions included, as detailed as you need.

04

Move to the next one

When you're happy, it moves to done. The next request comes off the queue. The work keeps moving.

What you can request

Here’s what’s in scope.

Landing pages. Homepage copy. Product descriptions. Brand stories. Email sequences. Campaign headlines. About pages. Onboarding copy. Sales pages. Positioning statements.

What’s not in scope: long-form editorial, PR, social media management, or anything that needs a byline rather than a brief.

The one request rule.

This is deliberate. Not a limitation — a discipline.

Most copy fails because too many things are being written at once, by too many people, without a clear order of priority. One request at a time means one thing gets done properly before the next one starts. Clients who’ve worked this way tell us it also forces a useful question: what actually needs to be written first?

The queue is yours. Reprioritise it any time.

Human Chapter works with a small number of clients at any time. The work requires it.

Questions.

What counts as one request?

One discrete piece of copy. A landing page is one request. A five-email welcome sequence is one request. A full website is not — that gets broken into individual pages and moves through the queue in order.

How do revisions work?

You leave feedback directly on the Trello card. We turn revisions around within 48 hours. Two rounds included per piece — in practice most things are done in one.

What if I need to pause?

Pause anytime from your billing settings. The board stays live, your queue stays intact. Resume when you're ready.

Is this actually written by a human?

Every piece goes through a human editor before it reaches you. The process is AI-directed by a detailed creative framework built over time, refined by a human who knows when something isn't right. You're paying for the output, not the method. Judge it on the copy.

What do you need from me to start?

A brief. The more specific the better — who's reading it, what you need them to think or do, what you've tried before. If you're not sure how to brief copy, we'll send you a template when you sign up.

Start with one piece. Free.

Send us a brief for the copy that isn’t working. Landing page, product description, email, homepage — whatever’s been sitting on the list. We’ll write it. No cost, no commitment. If it’s right, you’ll know.
